Don Currie moved from the Ripley/Kincardine area in southwestern Ontario to the Charleton region in northern Ontario in the summer of 2000. When his Angus cow calf herd moved to pasture in Charleton, he started them off on Masterfeeds' Rough-N-Ready Creep Feeding Program, a product that he was unfamiliar with. Don fed Rough-N-Ready for the complete creep and weaning period prior to selling the calves at the Keady Presort Vaccinated Calf Sale where the steers and heifers averaged 600 lbs.

"Considering the move and the fact that we retained the top cut of the heifers for replacements, we felt the calves performed rather well. The calves carry good muscle and don't get fat and gutty looking on Rough-N-Ready".
