YR RED BRICK 7K is a 2-year old polled purebred Red Factor Simmental bull. Sired by STF Red Ransom and out of a dam sired by Bar 5 Mr Royalty 438B, Brick, has all the characteristics sought after by fullblood, purebred and commercial cattlemen.

He is extremely thick, deep bodied and easy fleshing. He has tremendous muscle expression and length of body. His excellent disposition makes him a joy to be around. He is very structurally correct with excellent feet and legs. With a birth weight of 80 lbs. he is in the pluses for calving ease. Exportable semen is available through DC Stock Farms, Calgary, AB and Independent Breeders Services Ltd., Crossfield, AB.

He exhibits tremendous style and profile, which his show record has proven. In 2001, he was Reserve Grand Champion Simmental Bull at the Canadian Western Agribition, Regina, SK and Reserve Junior Champion Simmental Bull at FarmFair International, Edmonton, AB. DC Stock Farms of Calgary purchased YR RED BRICK 7K from Yellow Rose Cattle Co. of Didsbury, AB in December 2000. Yellow Rose Cattle Co. had several wins with him as a calf including Bull Calf Champion and Bull Classic People’s Choice Champion Bull at FarmFair International, Edmonton, AB and Senior Division Bull Calf Champion at Canadian Western Agribition, Regina, SK.

Brick’s first calf crop is now on the ground. They are “chips off the old block” with excellent thickness, depth of rib, length of body, vigor, color and good dispositions.

Brick’s ration is an 11% custom ration prepared by Masterfeeds. He has performed well on this ration. Having him well prepared for his success at the 2001 fall shows and for the fast approaching 2002 show schedule.
