We are a feed and farm supply business located in Brussels which is part of Southwestern Ontario. Our building is part of Brussels Livestock which is one of southwestern Ontario’s largest privately owned stockyards. We are a Masterfeeds , a Gallagher Fence and a Corland Seeds Dealer.

We were established in 1992 under the ownership of Jim Chambers. Brian Alcock was hired as our Feed Representative and Beth Crawford was hired as our Bookkeeper. Our inventory at that time consisted of Animal Health Supplies, Feed and Farm Supplies. The following year we began selling gates and feeders and increased our selection of Animal Health Products. 

In Sept of 1995 Tim Prior joined our business and became our Fence Supply & Install Representative. Tim brought with him an established Gallagher Fence Business which complimented ours quite nicely.

In the Fall of 1997 Tim Prior purchased the business from retiring Jim Chambers. Tim expanded the store and added a larger feed room to accommodate our growing customer base. Brian purchased a feed truck which we use to supply bulk feed to our customers.

THE STAFF

Tim Prior  Tim is the owner of Brussels Agri Services Ltd.. His wife Donna and three children live on a 100- acre farm in Grey Township. Tim went to Ridgetown College for Agricultural Production Management. He started selling Gallagher Fence supplies out of his home in 1982. When he purchased Brussels Agri Services Ltd. he brought with him a good knowledge of different aspects of farming. As Tim is from this area he relates well to our customers and is a good public relations officer.

Doug Marriott Doug Marriott is a Feed and Livestock Advisor. Doug resides in the hamlet of Whitechurch with his wife Susan and two children Melanie and Rob. Doug brings with him 9 years experience in the feed industry. He and his family raise and show purebred Maine-Anjou cattle.

Beth Crawford Beth is the Bookkeeper/Secretary. She has a Diploma in Accounting and has worked as a Bookkeeper for 20 years. Beth and her husband Don live in Brussels with their two children. She has experience with computers and various accounting programs. Beth specialized in Farm Tax with an accounting firm in Listowel for 5 years so has a good knowledge of farm bookkeeping.

Ian Hughes Ian is a former employee of the Listowel Co-op and has lots of experience in the farm supply business. Ian is a jack-of-all-trades as he installs fencing, makes deliveries and helps in the store.

Kalvin Fischer Kalvin joined us in the summer of 2002 and is our full-time feed truck driver..

Trudy Upshall She assists with our Cowboy Loft marketing by attending shows, rodeos, fairs and parades. As well, Trudy will be helping within the store.

Andy Macdonald In early 2005, Andy joined the Brussels Agri Services Ltd. team. His main focus will be planning, selling and installing fencing systems.

Kim Higgins Kim works in the store doing the various tasks that it entails. She is particularly interested in the area of show cattle.
